Requirements
There
are a number of things that we expect of students as pre-requisites for
coming on one of our training sessions (actually these are pretty much
what all advanced trainers expect, but we tell you explicitly up front):
- You must hold a valid, full motorcycle license (we may check)
- You
are responsible for providing a road-legal, roadworthy motorcycle for
the training which you must be insured to ride (again, we may check)
- You are responsible for all running costs of the bike you use
- You must provide your own road-legal motorcycle helmet and recognised motorcycle protective clothing (including jacket & trousers or equivalent, gloves and boots) - trainers and jeans will not be accepted
- If appropriate you should bring waterproofs with you - we don't cancel training just because of rain
- You must not arrive under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substance and must not consume any such substance during the course of the training (save the bevvies for later)
- You
must not at any time be under the influence of any medicine which might
impair your ability to ride and take on board instruction from us - check with
your doctor or pharmacist in advance if you are on medication
- You must be medically fit to drive and not have been advised by any medical practitioner not to drive
These
requirements are for your safety, our safety and the safety of other
road users, including any other accompanying students. We require
payment for the training up-front in full and as a professional organisation we cannot provide refunds if, in our opinion,
you fail to comply with all of the above. We are up-front with
this to avoid you being disappointed on the day. If you have any
questions, please contact us.
